On National Afforestation Day, the Applied Chemistry Branch/Department of Applied Sciences of University of Technology with the glamour of giving and dedication, sponsored by Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghaban, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Khoula Salah Khashan, Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Farhad Mohammed Othman, Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs. Selection of professors and students of Applied Chemistry Branch have made concrete efforts in the afforestation and planting of 100 seedlings of veins, and the presenting posters related to afforestation. A scientific lecture on afforestation and modern watering techniques was held by the teacher Dr. Faras Mohamed Saget Al-Ekili the lecturer in the Applied Chemistry Branch. The lecture witnessed positive students’ attendance, reflecting the ongoing pursuit by the Applied Chemistry Branch to promote and educate students on the importance of afforestation and its positive impact on the environment. It actively contributes to the achievement of the Government's objectives to combat desertification.

Based on the authorities vested in us and in accordance with the requirements of the work…. Biotechnology Branch will hold a training course titled (The method of primers preparation that used in PCR test) for the affiliates of the department from 18-23/02/2024 at the Physiology lab in the Biotechnology branch.
