    My name is Noor Ezzulddin Naji . I was born in Baghdad (Iraq) in 3 August 1980. I am married and have one girl. I had my bachelor and master degrees in applied physics from the School of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, Baghdad (Iraq) in 2002 and 2005, respectively. In the project for master degree, I have worked on the potential generated from the interaction between pulsed laser and solid surface. In 2006, I was employed as an assistant lecturer at the School of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, Baghdad (Iraq) to instruct undergraduate students at Optics lab. In 2011, I was promoted to be lecturer at Branch of Materials Science, School of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, Baghdad (Iraq). Currently, I am teaching Heat and Thermodynamics for undergraduate students at Branch of Materials Science, School of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, Baghdad (Iraq). I have worked on synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials and nanostructures, such as silicon carbide, nickel oxide and nickel ferrite, by physical vapor deposition methods and techniques, especially DC magnetron sputtering. I also have worked on the spectroscopic characterization of some organic dyes, such as tumerin and hibiscus sabdarifa L used for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). I have studied the effect of acidic environment and impurities on the performance of such systems. Also, I have worked on the design and optimization of electrolytic cells to produce highly-pure nanomaterials. Up to March 2018, I have published 11 articles in national and foreign journals. I was promoted to assistant professor in September 2016.
